Grow Glide presents a bi-weekly video podcast series

Ask the GrowBot

The concept is simple; get a few knowledgeable industry experts from the cannabis space to ask the “GrowBot” (played by AI chat bot ChatGPT) some questions and see what happens. The result is an entertaining exchange of scientific knowledge, business acumen, engineering assessments, and anecdotal stories that help cultivators and cannabis entrepreneurs make more informed decisions about their allocation of limited resources.

The “Ask the GrowBot” episodes are meant to share stories, experiences, and measurables that build the industry so we can all keep improving, keep learning…and remind ourselves that hard work and perseverance built this industry and created careers for so many.

Thanks for taking the time to watch this week’s episode of Ask The GrowBot. In the Season #1 Finale Anders Peterson from Pipp Horticulture joins Wil and Jesse as they get the GrowBot’s perspective on multitier facility design, airflow measurement, and manipulation that has a measurable impact on CEA. Also, while discussing the transition from tribal knowledge to science-backed decision-making in cannabis cultivation the group dissects the important steps and decisions that impact the overall performance of operational facilities.

Episode Description: Grow Glide is excited to share with you another episode of our Bi-weekly video podcast, Ask the Growbot. This week Wil, Jesse, and the GrowBot are joined by Mike Lomuto to talk politics, people, and the importance of inclusion in the emerging cannabis landscape. Without getting too heavy; Mike brings a fresh perspective to the show and leans into his experience hosting the Minority Report Podcast, The Power Hour, and as a leader of the NCIA’s DEI committee to talk about measuring the financial impact diversity has on the cannabis industry. As the conversation builds Mike and Jesse get at some great insights on business growth and brand success but they also challenge AI to “DO BETTER”.

Episode Description: See if you can keep up with Ben from Acadia Farms Family, GrowGlide and the GrowBot as conversations race from scientific to practical at lighting speeds. Nuggets of great information are shared as Jesse and Ben speak to the constant evolution of commercial cannabis cultivation and measuring what matters for each cannabis business.

Episode Description: Do you suffer from inconsistent product syndrome? Do you know someone afflicted with post-harvest flower disorderliness? Have you heard of the debilitating disease known as too many touches?

Well, GrowGlide has good newsā€¦ this weekā€™s dose of Ask the GrowBot is the cure.

All jokes aside (because curing cannabis professionally is no joke) this passion-driven conversation Jay from DriFlower chats with Jesse, Wil, and the GrowBot about the art of curing and the tools needed to consistently dry great cannabis at scale.

They also talk about Eatinā€™ Potatoes vs Sellinā€™ Potatoes, the rules of thumb on sizing your dry room, and what itā€™s like to spend your entire life chasing the best cannabis on the planet.

As always we appreciate you tuning in and supporting our efforts to turn out knowledge that feeds the FIRE in this industry.

Episode Description: Thanks for tuning in to another episode of Ask the GrowBot. This week we talk with Matt Iarussi from Canna Klean Remediation about how to assess and deep clean a cultivation facility.

We all know about cleaning out fertigation line sets to prevent biofilms and spraying down rooms after the harvest to prevent pathogen buildup and many commercial facilities have embraced Photocatalytic Oxidation, UV or other tech in the ductwork to clean the air…but is there more you should do to maintain the health of your facility?

Episode Description: In this installment, Casey Rivero from Fluence sits down with Jesse, Wil, and ChatGPT to discuss horticultural lighting, share industry stories, challenge the GrowBot, and talk about the future of the global cannabis market. We hope you enjoy the program, learn a little something, and have a few laughs along the way. So sit back, consume some cannabis, and enjoy our content. And when you are ready to talk racks…we are always excited to help you get even higher. We even challenged the GrowBot to provide science-backed baselines for transpiration rates in commercial cultivation facilities and debated the results.
